Large rooms for each age group
Our Centre has large rooms, separated by the children's ages and developmental needs. Each room has multiple staff, who have their childcare certificate and first aid. Each room has a range of activities based on the children's interests. We have an indoor gymnasium that is used by all ages.
About Us
Community Member
Our Centre was established in 1979. We are an important and active member of our community. We are involved with various community agencies and organizations. We work in partnership with the schools we serve: Lee Ridge School; St. Elizabeth Catholic School; Grace Martin School Frere Antoine School; Greenview School; John Paul I Catholic School. We are in partnership with ABC Head Start, GRiT, FSCD and Growing Changes. All organizations help parents and children with challenging behaviours, language difficulties and other support structures for parents and educators.

Infant
(3-19 months)
Infant care is the specialized care and nurturing of babies from 3 to 19 months, ensuring their safety, health, and development. It involves feeding, diapering, sleep management, and engaging in activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical growth. Caregivers provide a warm and responsive environment, fostering secure attachments and early learning. Proper hygiene, regular health check-ups, and attentive supervision are essential to support a baby’s well-being and development. Quality infant care lays the foundation for a child’s future growth, encouraging trust, curiosity, and social bonds.
Toddler
(1.5-3 years)
Our Toddler Program at Peter Pan Chaildcare Center is designed to nurture curiosity, independence, and early learning in a safe, loving environment. Tailored for children aged 1 to 3, our program focuses on hands-on activities, sensory exploration, and structured play to develop motor skills, language, and social-emotional growth. Our experienced caregivers provide individualized attention, fostering a sense of security and confidence. Through music, storytelling, art, and interactive play, toddlers build essential communication and problem-solving skills. We encourage exploration while maintaining a structured routine that supports healthy development. Our goal is to create a joyful and engaging learning experience for every child.
Preschool Room
(2-3 years)
Our Preschool Room Program at Peter Pan Chaildcare Center is designed to prepare children aged 3 to 5 for a successful transition to kindergarten. Through a structured yet playful environment, we focus on early literacy, math, problem-solving, and social skills. Our engaging curriculum includes hands-on activities, creative arts, music, and outdoor play to foster curiosity and a love for learning. Children develop independence, confidence, and teamwork through interactive lessons and guided exploration. Kinder Room
(4-5 years)
Our Kinder Room Program at Peter Pan Chaildcare Center is designed for children preparing to enter kindergarten, offering a rich learning environment that nurtures creativity, independence, and critical thinking. Our curriculum focuses on early literacy, math, science, and social development through hands-on activities, group projects, and interactive play. We emphasize problem-solving, communication, and teamwork, helping children build confidence in their abilities. Out of School Care
(5-12 years)
Our Out of School Care (OSC) program at Precious Stars Daycare provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for school-aged children before and after school. We offer a structured yet flexible program that includes homework support, creative activities, outdoor play, and skill-building exercises. Our dedicated educators encourage social development, teamwork, and responsibility while ensuring children have fun and unwind after a busy school day. We also offer exciting enrichment activities such as arts, sports, and STEM projects. With a focus on safety, learning, and fun, our OSC program helps children develop confidence and essential life skills in a nurturing setting.
